DL's Review of Smyrna
You are going to SJU.. Good Luck..I was there in March 2009 and their service has a lot to be desired... Get there with ample time because they take their time doing things... It is more important to them to chit chat with their fellow workers than to assits the traveler... They are too busy talking among themselves and to stop their conversation and do what they are getting paid to do is a hazzle... They are rude when they finally get to do their job and take their sweet time to get it done... I was in the line for Airtran waited 15 minutes to get my bag checked in... Mind you there were 5 agents on the desk (all talking among themselves) and only one working the line (dealing with a passenger problem). When I finally got my bag checked in, it was sent thru the TSA scanner where it sat on the floor for 10 minutes before the guy who was also engrosed on another conversation with the guy who is looking at the monitor of the xray machine felt it was necessary to stop talking and pickup the 15 bags that were already on the floor as the other ones were falling on the top as they were coming off the xray machine without no one to take them and put them on the belt... So, arm yourself with a lot of patience because you will need it...
